- Click the Start Button
- Start Typing “Network” and you will be given Search Results
- Click on the Settings Link and select Set Up a Network Connection
- Click Manually Connect to a wireless network
- Enter rootown or UARH for Network Name
- Security Type is WPA2-Enterprise
- Encryption Type is AES
- Click Next
- Click Change Connection Settings
- Click on the Security Tab
- Click Settings
- Check the box next to the following…
- Connect to these servers
- In the box add wan-radius-pri.uakron.edu
- Click OK
- Click Advanced Settings
- Check Specify authentication mode
- Choose User authenticatin and fill out your UAnet ID and password
- Click ok
- Click on the Wireless Icon the Task bar click on Rootown and click connect
- Enter UANET ID AND PASSWORD and click ok
- Sometimes you may need to add UANET\ before your ID. Example: UANET\abc123
