Content.png As of now, Windows8 has intermittent connections on campus, due to a software bug with Windows
  1. Click the Start Button
  2. Start Typing “Network” and you will be given Search Results
  3. Click on the Settings Link and select Set Up a Network Connection
  4. Click Manually Connect to a wireless network
  5. Enter Rootown or UARH for Network Name
  6. Security Type is WPA2-Enterprise
  7. Encryption Type is AES
  8. Click Next
  9. Click Change Connection Settings
  10. Click on the Security Tab
  11. Click Settings
  12. Check the box next to the following…
    1. Connect to these servers
    2. In the box add wan-radius-pri.uakron.edu
    3. Entrust.net Certification Authority (2048)
    4. Entrust Secure Server Certification Authority
  13. Click OK
  14. Click Advanced Settings
  15. Check Specify authentication mode
  16. Click ok
  17. Click on the Wireless Icon the Task bar click on Rootown and click connect
  18. Enter UANET ID AND PASSWORD and click ok
