The Support Desk is designed to be a front-end support group. Since most problems can be solved without needing physical technical assistance, the Support Desk offers over the phone basic troubleshooting and in person wireless setups. If a problem is too severe for the help desk to support, they will refer customers to SCSS or open a work-order/ticket.
Support Desk Specialties
The Support Desk is great for reseting passwords, helping inform students of how to setup many different connections, and directing calls for further assistance. Most support questions initially go through the Support Desk.
