You can clear your Safari history and cache by:

Yosemite

  1. With Safari open, click the Safari menu
  2. Click on Clear History and Website Data
  3. Change the time frame to All history and click Clear History

Lion/Mountain Lion/Mavericks

  1. With Safari open, click the Safari menu
  2. Select the Reset Safari
  3. Check on Remove all website data
  4. Check on Close all Safari Windows
    • That is the only option that must be checked for this, however, other options may be checked as you deem necessary.
