Windows

How to clear Private Data for current versions of Opera:

  1. Click on the Opera menu icon in the upper left corner of the browser.
  2.   OperaUpLeft.png
    
  3. Hover over History and then go over and click on Clear browsing data.
  4.   OperaHistory.png
    
  5. Make sure that all three checkboxes are checked off (Browsing history, Cookies and other site data, and Cached images and files). Then click Clear data
  6.   OperaClearHistory.png
    
  7. After you've done that, close out of Opera. Once you reopen Opera, you are good to go.


Content.png You can skip steps 1 & 2 if you hit Ctrl+Shift+Del at the same time.

  1. Click on Tools in your menu bar and then choose Delete Private Data
  2. Choose the top 5 checkboxes and then then Delete Persistent Storage and Close all tabs
