Setting up Parent access for student Financials

To add additional access accounts to your Student financial records.
Authorized Users only have access to make a payment, payment history, account balances on student accounts, e-bills and payment plans.
Authorized Users do not have access to financial aid, grades, or other online student information (such as ZipLine).

Creating Parent Access ID

  1. Log into zipline using your UAnet ID and password.
  2. Click/Select the "Student Center"
  3. Click/Select "make a payment/view ebill"
    • Click/Select "Continue to CashNet"
  4. Scroll to the bottom of the CashNet welcome screen
  5. Click "Add New"
  6. Enter the needed information for creating the PIN
  7. Click 'OK'
    • A password will be sent to the e-mail address that was entered

Resetting the Parent Password

  1. Follow the steps above to access CashNet
  2. Scroll to the bottom of the CashNet welcome screen
  3. Click 'Edit' next to the name of the account
  4. Click the 'Reset Password' button
  5. Click/Select 'Continue' to affirm the reset action for the password
  6. This will take you back to the CashNet welcome screen, the password is now reset

Once created Parents will be able to log directly into CashNet with their IDs/PINs at https://commerce.cashnet.com/cashneta/selfserve/ebilllogin.aspx?client=AKRON_PROD&.
