About Recovering Deleted Emails

This procedure is applicable if you are using Microsoft Outlook 2003 or 2007 and are using the Exchange system.

Procedure for Outlook 2003/2007

The procedure is the same for Outlook 2007 and 2003. First, Select your Deleted Items folder. Next, select Tools, and recover deleted items. If you do not see the Recover Deleted Items menu option, you may need to expand the menu by clicking on the arrows at the bottom of the menu. If the recover Deleted items is grayed out, there are no messages that you can recover.


Procedure for Outlook Web Access (OWA)

Begin by logging into Click on Options in the upper right corner of the screen. Next, scroll down the list of available choices and select Deleted Items. The list of available items to recover will be displayed on the right. Click on the message you would like to recover, and click recover to deleted items.
