TCP/IP settings
From The University of Akron Support Center Wiki
TCP/IP settings can be accessed via the Network Connection properties dialog in Windows XP.
- In the Control Panel, double-click on "Network Connections." If you do not see that option, click on "Switch to Classic View" in the top left of the Window.
- Right-click on an icon and select "Properties"
- The "General" tab is selected by default. In the large box on this tab, highlight "TCP/IP" and then click the box under it that is labeled "Properties"
From here, you can change the behavior of the TCP/IP protocol.
