Reset Internet Explorer 6

To reset the Browser Settings for Internet Explorer 6.0

Begin by clicking on ‘Start’, move to ‘Control Panel’, once in the control panel select ‘Internet Options’.

Clearing History, Cookies, and Temp Files

At the ‘General Tab’

click on ‘Delete cookies’ click OK to confirm

Then select ‘Delete Files’, and click OK to confirm

Then select ‘Clear History’ and click Ok to confirm

Clear SSL State

Next select the ‘Content’ tab, and click ‘Clear SSL State’, and click OK to confirm

Restore Advanced Settings

Finally select the ‘Advanced’ tab, and click ‘Restore Defaults’, and click OK at the bottom to confirm.

You have now reset Internet Explorer 6.0 to its default settings.
